echo %ORACLE_SID%

In unix we give echo $ORACLE_SID to show sid name, How to specify in windows for seeing some environment variables

i tried %ORACLE_SID% in windows but it didnot show anything

In command prompt, enter:

set oracle_sid

or

echo %oracle_sid%

If those two command don't display anything it means that environment variable %ORACLE_SID% has not been sed in your environment.
