Question oemLaunchOms consuming lots of CPU

    Hi,

    I'am running Oracle9i Release 9.2.0.1.0 on a Solaris 8 server.
Sometimes the proces oemLaunchOms (for Oracle Enterprise Manager) is consuming lots and lots of CPU-resources. This can even freeze the server. Is anyone familiar with this behaviour and can tell me what's wrong ?

    Regards Hugo Kelder

Are any error messages shown or are any log files created in $OH/sysman/logs

Also does the server have more than 1 IP Address?

There are some log files in $OH/sysman/log but I can't see anything strange there.
The server has only one networkinterface with one ipaddress.
