Access Oracle Datastore thru Virtual Driveletter

Have you come across a program / utility which would allow me to access the contents of an Oracle table containing BLOBs as if the BLOBs where files on a harddisk.

I.e. if I would do execute a O:\DIR command, I would see the files which are stored on the virtual O: drive which really is a collection of files in an oracle table.

It would be nice if this would work on an NT server.

    Thanks !

    Hi,

I think you need to store the BLOBS as BFILE externally
    on the hard disk.

There might be somekind of solution nivolving WebDAV access to an XML DB configuration, but I'm sure it sould be more trouble than it's worth.
