I agree with Abhay, unless you have a specific problem leave the registry alone it shouldn't have any impact on you 9i installs.

I have to clean up a regestry to complete uninstall of Oracle 7i.
In the past if I don't clean the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE->SOFTWARE->ORACLE
I had a lot of problems..... May be because it was a server computer... not client....
any way.... some advices will be good.
Thanx.

I don't have a permission and possibility for that ) this is first.
Second: cleaning of regestry may be better than reinstall OS.
and I have about 30 client )) to much work )

It may cause problem if you have same name for ORACLE_HOME.
i dont think you will be interested to keep the same name of Oracle_Home for 9.x install.
If you dont want to see 7.x keys then delete those keys.
It would be under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE/ORACLE/HOME%
delete the key HOME% ( % may be any valid number ) that contain all information pertaing to 7.x
And possibly you may have to change DEFAULT HOME value to new home name ( ALL_HOMES ).

When I've done this previously (when feeling brave) I simply removed the whole HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE->SOFTWARE->ORACLE branch but if you have other Oracle products installed then obviously this will cause problems.
