Thread: deadlock

    deadlock

    Is there anyway to find out what module is impacted of deadlock?

    we can get module_name from v$session but we need to provide sid...but by the time we found deadlock sid might have changed it....
    though I am not sure 100%

    any workaround here?

    You can see the code that caused the deadlock in the trace file it generates can you not trace the module back from that?

    But my forms knowledge is zero and I don't know how to check...In fact, I gave couple of codes to a developer..he couldn't figure it out..
