    warning message

    What im trying to do

Is there a way that you can send a warning message / broadcast via SQL plus or any other oracle utility for example warn users that downtime will begin in half an hour and to finish their work

Obviously we have communicated this via e-mail as well but just wondering is this possible?

    Thanks

Not aware of any Oracle technique.

Usually done through net send,Citrix, wall or some other OS command/utility.
Once you have eliminated all of the impossible,
    whatever remains however improbable,
    must be true.
