    Setting password for Internal user on Unix

    Hi

    i am working on Oracle 8.1.6.3.1 on HP-Ux 11.0 platform.

    How do i set a password for the user " internal " .

    Can anyone tell me the steps i need to carry out.

    It is not a good practise to set password for internal, as it is accessible only to the oracle software owner.

    However, if you want, you can do so, by setting env for two_task to the sid of the database. Now it will ask you the password.
