It is really pity that many members of these forums take less care even to express their sympathies to the grieved family of E.F.Codd.

I am not surprised by the attitude of members who are using this forums, because Oracle Corpn and many other database vendors, especially Larry Ellison whose product are based on Codd's theory forgot him a long time ago. These companies became very rich, but E.F.Codd never became rich.

    Tamilselvan,
Propose some way of expressing sympathy to E.Codd Family. I could think of no other way except pray for his soul. Actually I did pray already. Did not know we should supplement our prayers with some reply. btw, there is one more thread on certification forum, opened by Adewri, on same topic.

    Thanks

To the bereaved family members of Dr. E. F. Codd,

The one person who gave the meaning and definition to the RELATIONAL database world and his theory still persists.

May the Almighty God give comfort to the bereaved family members, and the departed soul may find place in Heaven.

    Nice gesture Mr. Tamilselvan.

    It's sad news.

There have been people who've used ideas of others to mint. But I'm sure he didn't long for riches.

    To Mr.E.F.Codd

When the soul goes to the place which we don't know any thing about it , except that it's the place of the end and the new begin ..
and when the angels , and the messengers of the god host the good visitor .. the sound of the eternity of the good pepole will be clearer in our ears .. and then we can feel that the hands and the aphorisms of the departed will be always close contact upon our hearts ...
We haven't seen Mr.E.F.Codd , but he has known what we need , so he has known us more than what we know about our self ..
Please God , let us know a small and great prayer to the soul of Mr.E.F.Codd ..
Please God , he had help us in his life , Please help him there ...

    Amin ..
