Can we apply archive logs to Cold backup ? if so,can u give the steps ?

In lieu of your exact scenario,

If you have a copy of the current controlfile.

1) Save the current controlfile

2) perform a restore from your cold backup

3) replace the control files with a copy of the "current controlfile" from step 1

4) startup mount

5) recover database

(type auto to have the logs applied without confirmation)
