    Ibm

    Hi Master Professionals,

I am working with state government department which is having a IBM AIX RX 6000 server with Oracle database version 8.1.5.

Recently we got an order to upgrade the database with 8.1.7 or even more.

I have not worked on this particular(IBM AIX ) Unix flavours before, yet I knew how configure on Solaris and even on Linux.

Is there any difference with AIX with the other solaris or Linux Machines?

Could anyone suggest me the right Book/ material or any website to look into; thus follow and implement the database upgradation.

I hope my query will be properly guided one from all the Guru's.

    Regards
