    Could not start management server

    HI,

    I installed OMS in f:\oem9i and the repository is in "HMDW" instance located in e:\ora9i .When i try to start OMS ,it give
    error

    P.S :
    ======

    1. Defined TNS_ADMIN = f:\oem9i\network\admin\tnsnames.ora in environment varibales

    2. configured listener.ora,tnsnames.ora and sqlnet in both oracle homes. instance is HMDW.


    Help me Pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeease !!!!



    The log file "f:\oem9i\sysman\log\oms.nohup shows following message

    add hostname and ipaddress in your hosts file...

    This error generally indicates that OMS cannot find the correct TNSNAMES.ORA file, and can therefore not connect to the OEM repository.

    Make sure you TNSNAMES.ORA file is in %ORACLE_HOME%/network/admin or you can add a line to the TNS_ADMIN TNSNAMES.ORA file that is pointed to by TNS_ADMIN environment variable.

    Eg.

    IFILE=C:\ora9i\network\admin\tnsnames.ora

    hi,

    I have defined TNS_ADMIN = F:\OEM9I\NETWORK\ADMIN\TNSNAMES.ORA in
    Environmet variables. Still , I could n't get the solution to startup
    OMS .


    Any more help ?
