    log sequence number recycling?

    What is the max for log sequence number? What happen when it reaches the max? Will it start from the beginning again?

    Which Sequence number u mean?

    Log Sequence number which got created whehn Log Switch occurs
    or

    Database Object-Sequence Number

    As per metalink:

    A log sequence number is an unsigned integer which on most ports supports (2^32)-1. Generating a logfile a minute would take many thousands of years to reach the maximum.

    So dont worry about this issue.
