Maximum limit of the Process parameter

What is the Maximum value which can be set for a process parameter in init.ora assuming the OS supports any value.
    Thanks

Actually, the parameter name is PROCESSES and it is OS dependent. Refer your operating system specific Oracle documentation for the range of values. Default value of this parameter is derived from PARALLEL_MAX_SERVERS.

Not just OS supports, OS should be having enough hardware to support. It depends on your shared memory and semaphores.
