    Unhappy Oracle not available

    Creating an Oracle9i database using the following

    ORADIM80 -NEW -SID abcd STARTMODE auto -PFILE path

    Checked service started OK, but when attemp to connect to oracle

    ORA-01034: ORACLE not available

    Check the ORALCE_SID is set.

    1. Check ORACLE_SID Setting

    2. Connect Oracle

    3. Start Oracle
