New Features 9i - Howard Rogers PDF

    Hi guys,

I'm almost done with my preparation to 1z0-030, reading Howard Rogers PDF right now (very good, straight and clear stuff btw). However, I noticed that chapters 18, 19 and 20 are blank.

Is the document unfinished or I got and older version? Is there a newer version of it?

    thanks,

    Adriano.

Those chapters were never written AFAIK (or at least not published before Howard was forced to remove his document from his site).

I'm intrigued do you know why was he forced to remove the document?

I am not sure the exact reason but Howard Rogers works for Oracle and probably Oracle Corp considered he was publishing their internal/copyrighted materials.

His site changed address twice or three times, in one of them you could actually download all the Oracle 8i course powerpoints

Howard was on the board about a year ago explaining why he had to take it off his site. It was do with his employment at Oracle.

So, any suggestions for documentation on Advanced Replication to 1z0-030? I didn't find any on Tim notes as well.

    dre1988, thanks for the info.

At least since 11/02 AR isn't there anymore. It seems the documentation I got was pretty old. Anyway, I noticed that not just Advanced Replication was excluded from test contents. I didn't see a sign of Shared Server enhancements (dedicated external procedure agents, heterogenous services, common event model, listener direct handoff etc) on the checklist provided by you.
