Oracle--"Our Databases are easy to manage"

Management--"Cool its so easy lets buy Oracle."

    After they get it...

    Management--"Who will maintain it"

Oracle--"well you will need an OCM for that."

Management--"But you said it was easy to manage"

    Oracle--"Yes, but for an OCM"

I agree with Tim here. The IT industry got toa jump start , pulled up the stocks and god knows what not! and eventually ended up burying itself in all the bull.

well I haven't spent really too long a time in this sector so maybe it's time to choose something else, HR or Human Rights activist or maybe start my own Rock band

    Tarry,

Being in a rock band is a much more sane career choice, no OCP required to play the Sax!

    Really Jim,
being a rock star will give me the freedom to curse, spit, all kind of cranky things and even get a soap space on tv(look at ozzy), I mean it's really cool.........
So pay no attention to my lyrics(should they contain curses, esp the old employer et al..maybe i'll add your top 5 as well) if you see me singing on stage

Never give up Tarry there are plenty of Potato's to go round, alternativly you could become a 'Paper' certified potato picker, understand the theory (bend down, pick potato, put potato in basket), never actually picked a potato but expect the same respect/position as a old time potato picker

Think this must be approaching a severe deviation from the original thread now

Major! I can see Hrishy getting confused between OCM or PPCM(potato picker CM)..
But thanx for your encouragement, Jim
