    database recovery - urgent

    Hi all
    I have a complete cold backup of my database including the datafiles, redologs taken last weekend and all the archived redologs on another machine. I don't have a stand by database.
    Today the systems OS has crashed and needs to be reinstalled.
    Could anyone Kindly Help me step by step how to recover my database on a new system.

    Thanks

    1) Install oracle on the new system
    2) create a new databse (default one) make sure the new database have a same SID
    3) shutdown new database
    4) copy all file from the database crash on the new on
    - datafile (coll backup)
    - control file ( before the crash: you need for the recove until time)
    - log file (all before de the crash)
    - archive log (all before de the crash need for the recove until time)
    - init.ora (optional make sure: you have the good control file, and the archile log have a same location)
    5) startup mount;
    6 ) recove databse until time (before the crash)
    6) select status from dba_data_files;
    6) select status from dba_files;
