    TURN OFF output in sql*plus

    Quick question. How to turn off sql output in sql*plus without using spool or count(*) stuff. I just want to time(turn on timing option) my queries for performance tuning.

    You can use
    set autotrace traceonly
    statement for it.
    you can refere oracle docs for detailed explanation of set autotrace
