    Oracle Software and Database Schema

    Is it advisable to install Oracle software, create System tablespace and have one control file in the same physical drive? What are drawbacks of doing so if it is not suggestable?

    Have you heard of the term "putting all you eggs in one basket"

    This is most definitly not a desirable situation, but surely you would have covered such topics during you OCP certification

    You mean to say having only one controlfile or keeping one of the mirrored controlfile
