    whats the difference between the two ?

    how is the market demand for both ?

    how will be the future of core oracle dba & apps dba ?

    I find it comical how companies will accept a person as a DBA for an extremely complex system, but once you mention Oracle Apps they require previous experience as if it's impossible to pick it up like any other system.

    The demand for Oracle Apps DBAs is quite high at the moment. Financials, CRM and HR are always pretty popular.
