Thread: Start/shutdown specific ORACLE instance

    Hi all,
    Is there an easy we to start/shutdown a specific ORACLE instance (in the case I have multipe ORACLE instances in my system)?

    Either connect to the individual instance as SYS using the connect string or change the ORACLE_SID environmental variable.
