Thread: Oracle 8.0.5 on Solaris 9??

    Is there anyone who has any experience with installing old versions of Oracle8.0.5 on the newest Solaris 9.

    Oracle says that 8.0.5 is not certified with Solaris 9 but dosn't that just means that it hasn't been testet?

    What problems could arise??

    Why on earth would you use uncertified, untested software?

    "just means" is way too passive for something so critical to businesses depending on software
