    SHOW PARAMETER MTS_SERVERS

If the value is nonzero means you are using MTS.

See the SERVER column in the V$SESSION, It will indicate DEDICATED or SHARED for every session.

    Hi,
Also you can find it out by running the command
    lsnrctl services.
It will show whether your database is running in dedicated or mts.

And, of course, both the answers are correct BUT they only say if MTS is CONFIGURED, to see if MTS is being used right now you can query V$SESSION.SERVER , and to see statistics about past uses of MTS, query v$queue q, v$dispatcher, v$dispatcher_rate and v$shared_server (all of them are fully explained in the manuals).

    Regards,

    Chiappa
