If you are trying to do a clean reinstall then

    1. Uninstall previos installation using OUI.
    2. Clear Registry entries.
    3. Delete the Oracle Home Directory.
    4. Install Oracle again.

    Question Installation

    Hi,

I have followed whatever you have mentioned. Even after uninstalling the following Services are still displayed in the Control Panel -> Services

    1. OracleOraHomeManagementServer
    2. OracleOraHome81TNSListener
    3. OracleOraHomeTNSListener

Here HOME is the name of the database which i had created earlier.

I disabled the Services mentioned above and tried reinstalling Oracle.

Installation was completed and when i tried to connect to the instance i got the following Error message:

    TNS: no listener

How do I proceed from here.

    regards

    Ramji
