Thread: Oracle for HP-UX

    Can anyone help? As you now on OTN you can download Oracle for several platforms, one of which is for HP-UX, however it is the 64 bit version, I require the 32 bit version, which I can get but I have to pay Oracle £28 for the media. Now my problem is that Sky Television pay Oracle over £1,000,000 in support and the like, but I still have to pay £28 for the media, which I think is ridicules!
    Can anyone provide or show where I can get the 32-bit version.

    You work for Sky TV? They send the CD media free to the companies. In fact they probably send many for free. We asked RDBMS software for all platforms (that was about 10, 12 CDs) they sent us like 60 with all application server, iDS blah blah for all platforms. For free

    Ah by the way if you are customer Oracle will have to send you the CDs because the software you download from Technet is unsupported by Metalink (iTARs)
