    Hi All,

Are there any external tools available in the market so that we can view the contents of an Export file. Just the structure, the users, tables etc.

    Thanks

Once you have eliminated all of the impossible,
    whatever remains however improbable,
    must be true.

    Hi

If you just wanna see the structure why dont use the export utility with ROWS=N option.

unless i did not understand your question properly.the above solution should solve your problem.

If you are on 9i then you can esaily get the DDL out of the data dictionary with DBMS_DDL package.

    Hrishy,

I was looking at something without actually doing an import.

Using the option show=y, we can generate a file with all the
ddl. But sometimes this file could be big. I was looking at something that say reads this file and shows the structure in a gui.
