Thread: Enterprise Manager Config Assistant

    Unhappy

    When running emca to try and create an Enterprise Manager repository I get ORA-01034: Oracle not available. The database is up and registered with the listener and sqlnet.authentication_services=(NONE) has been set in sqlnet.ora. Any assistance appreciated!

    check ORACLE_SID
    check local connection with sqlplus with and without listener (ie with and without the @ string)
    open db if it is in a mount or nomount state
