Thread: oracle 8.1.6 DB move from Solaris to Linux

    I have a huge database 300 GB. Doing Export/Import is not feasible. The filesystems on solaris and linux is different. Do we have any utilities to convert the file systems from solaris to linux.

    Since you are changing platforms, I'm afraid your only option is export/import.
