    Hi,

Is there any impact of the parameter cursor_sharing=force on the sql statements.

Previously i have some SQL statements which used to return values properly. Now after setting the above parameter in init.ora, my SQL statements are returning extra spaces in the return values.

I am executing the sql statement from a JDBC client.

    Thanks in advance

There are some known problems with the cursor sharing. To address them, may I know your oracle and os version?

IS it the 8.1.7 base? On such case, I'ld recomend you to apply the latest patchset to it.
