    Hi,

I forgot the password for internal. Please let me know the if there is any procedure to startup the instance or database. I would like to know the password where it will be saved at the os level as well as at the database level. Thanks in advance. I really appreciate your help on this.

    Regards,
    Muralidhar

you must be using NT, so you'll need to rename your password file, and use orapwd to generate a new one

    Hi

Default password for INTERNAL is oracle.

Delete oraPWD.ora file and create new file using ORAPWD utility.
