    Question

    Are there any way to use function-based indexes in Oracle 8.0.5, to create an index like column1||column2?

    Thanks in advance

    Thanks for your reply Pando, but it doesn't work:

    SQL> create index pp on tarea concat(tarea.cod_tarea,tarea.cod_starea);
    create index pp on tarea
    concat(tarea.cod_tarea,tarea.cod_starea)
