    Is that true Oracle had memory leak on 8.1.7.2.5 ??? Oracle will have the new release 8.1.7.3 sometime this month.

    Someone in here noticed the problem with performance ???

    I was advised not to use it. So I am waiting for 8.1.7.3 and will patch with that one.

    I am trying to understand this better so please advise. I spoke with a guy from Oracle and they said that 8.1.7.2.5 had memory leak problem when you do an update or insert. Anyway, I noticed that everytime when someone do an update or insert , it will max out my CPU (100%), does it mean that memory leak caused to max out CPU ??? ( which cause the big time performance on the entire box). If noone do any update and it run at reasonable percentage of CPU
