    Hi,

I'm not sure how similar Linux installation is to Unix installation but with Unix you must have the Display variable set to the client you wish to have the installer displayed. This client must also have an XTERM client running.

    Cheers

    Thumbs up

    hello friend,

Problem is only for ur Display support on OS.

    Please set the followings

    Step 1:
    ---------
    login as root in O/S

    HOST =

if it is giving error, copy the same from other machine.

    Step :2
    -----------
    Login as Oracle user

    and set

    $ DSAPLAY = Hostname:0.0

    export DISPLAY

    Surely it will work.

    Thanks

    sumit
