    Cool

    I logged on as CONNECT INTERNAL/ORACLE AS SYSDBA.
    Then I tried to grant SYSOPER to a user - I've got an error message: cannot add user to a public password file.
    ??????????

    u can only grant when ur passwordfile is in exclusive mode ...
    u cannot if in share mode
