    Hi,

I created one database in Oracle. But I am getting so many inbuilt table(s). I have a doubt why so many tables are getting generated by the system. Is it my fault of selection procedure or what? could u please help me. If it so, how to hide the system tables from the view.

    thankx

Many of these tables starts with DBA_, USER_ and ALL_.

After creating the database what all scripts did you run ?

initially running the 3 scripts ( sql.bsq , catalog.sql & catproc.sql) after creating the database is enough to solve your basic needs and purpose.

You can run the different scripts provided under ORACLE_HOME\RDBMS\ADMIN later on as and when required.
