I may be wrong, but the @part, comes from the definition in the tnsnames/listener... Sometimes, it might be looking for a ".world".

    Good luck,

Did u have any problems while installing Oracle? When u install Oracle it normaly creates a database for you. This is normally where u get the ORA-03113 End-of-Communication Channel. It might be because of permission issues on the server where u are trying to create the database.

Check for TWO_TASK environment variable is defined. If its defined try undefining it and then try.

The environment variable two_task is not set and there was no errors at the time of installation. It was a typical installation.

I tried to check in some of the metalinks, the documents are few and are specific to this problem.

Did you had this problem before.

Did you echo $TWO_TASK OR just browsed your environment profile ?? Try echo it and See.
I couldn't remember exactly the same problem or the kinda problem, That time we found that culprit was that variable which was overwriting Oracle Super user environment though we undefine it at Oracle user level. Other Unix user was trying to access SQL+ to run some script.
Whenver that user try to export his environment in the script it was overriding the local oracle environment.
