Hi everyone, I have been checking alert files , as all DBA'S should but have been getting eror message "FATAL ERROR IN TWO TASK SERVER : error = 12571" KSEDMP : internal or fatal error, followed by some SQL statements. A stack TRACE then follows. Although the error is described as FATAL , everything carrys on hunky-dory, the database keeps going, ORACLE keeps going. The application in question has been supplied by a third party, it has been suggested that the error maybe caused by the coding within the application?????

    Solution

    Hi, 9th May 2001 21:46 hrs chennai

You can find some solutions from the following links.

    http://otn.oracle.com/support/s_repo...ent/449395.htm

    http://kes.cast.uark.edu/oracledocs/...nk/b286843.htm

This error could be the result of a corrupt Oracle ODBC driver, or when using a SQL*NET (SPX) connection to attatch to the Oracle server.

To circumvent the problem install a different Oracle ODBC driver, from Oracle or Intersolv, and/or reference the following Oracle web site:

    http://www.oracle.com/support/bullet...html/1903.html

This web site contains an article on troubleshooting the Oracle ODBC driver.

    Cheers
