DBA role in PARIS, FRANCE or NANTES, FRANCE
We seek an Oracle Database Administrator who speaks English and French to join our team!
As a member of a technical team specialised in the management of the R&D infrastructure and environments, your role will consist of administrating and maintaining the Oracle databases in the Cloud and on traditional server. The Oracle DBA is a critical role for our business and requires a customer focused, technical expert!
You will work in collaboration with our Unix administrator and the Slovenia-based team responsible for the Cloud.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
Install, configure and administer the Oracle databases that are:
customer databases in the Cloud
internal to UNIX (IBM, HP and SUN) and Linux servers
Monitor our customers’ production databases
Manage the database version upgrades
Analysis, resolution and follow-up of incidents and issues
Process requests for change or evolution
Contribute to the technical evolution of the existing infrastructure
Write management reports, update of checkpoints
Daily and monthly reporting
WHAT WILL YOU BRING?
A degree in IT/computer science, with previous work experience in Oracle Database Administration in a production, operation or support environment.
Prior experience in an Oracle cloud environment.
Strong language skills - you can operate with ease in a French/English bilingual environment.
You will also possess technical knowledge in the following fields:
[LIST][*]10G/11G/12C Oracle databases[*]Unix/Linux operation system[*]mastery of Shell/Ksh, SQL and PL/SQL scripting[*]knowledge of Dataguard, RAC and RMAN concepts
