...or, you can also investigate External Routine and DBMS_PIPE.
you can execute a batch file with a java procedure EXECOSCMD or EXECUTEOSCMD .
You need to set the utl_file_dir database parameter to where your batch is located in the server,so you ll let oracle to access the path that you mention.
Then you can use execoscmd to run a bash script or any program on the server.
