Julie
You can use Sybex Study Guides & STS. They are good to pass all the developer exams.
Regards
My mistake Sybex study guides are good for dba track. The first book can help you to pass the sql exam. For rest use couchman's developer guide.
Regards
Hi Julie,
Which exam do you go first to?
I suggest you buy Couchman's and/or Allen's book.
Check here to see which books I am talking about:
http://shop.osborne.com/cgi-bin/orac...072119756.html
http://shop.osborne.com/cgi-bin/orac...072193336.html
You get free questions with the books. They will help for Exams 1&2, and probably for 3&4, although the two Forms exams test on things not included in the books above. However, they cover about 90% of the exam material and if you have the practical knowledge you may pass without any other help.
There are questions for sale at http://www.selftestsoftware.com/I never bought anything fom them. There is some free stuff on the Internet: http://www.examsonline.com/Home/Default.asp etc.

I'm basically a C programmer. No experience on databases and SQL. that's why I'm looking for cheet sheets which can help me to grasp and pass exams quickly.
Thank you for your recommendations
So nice of you.
Thanks, but I cannot say if it is very nice of you to try to pass the exams with cheetsheets. Now, try to be in my position: I have honestly studied and worked for my certificates. If you have the same certificate without any effords involved, how would I look at the value of the whole certification process?Quote:

If you are C programmer, why do you need to be an certified Oracle programmer? Become a certified C-programmer!
did i read somewhere tim saying or maybe was it you julian that the best dba's came from the developers side....
ummmmm....
Both I and Tim, but how does it relate to this thread??
>>I've started my OCP Developer track.
Nope, she's said she's started an ocp developer's track. Thats' why.
I worked as hard core PL/SQL developer in my previous assignments utilizing pro*c
for more than two years. Performed development dba functions off and on. Passed my 8i ocp dba track. Preparing for 9i upgrade exam.
Teaching oracle dba track for the first time. I still need more time and practice in order to be even eligible for a position as production dba.
i think she'll have a long way to go.
She's looking for short cuts in the beginning. Vow what a world. I can only wish her best of luck and pray for her.
hi just mail me .i have everything for you to pass developer exams.

Right said, Julian.
It's not about righteousness , i'm not riding a moral white horse, but i mean what're you gonna do after that.
SHAME!!!
Julie, I suggest you to go for C or C++ certification. Like others said, you'll have a long way to go.
Julie,
Dont look for shortcuts...They look attractive but wont take you to the right path.
Work hard and pass the exams..Even if you fail..try again..U will get thru...
Otherwise just stick to C/C++ and go for C certification..
