3 cheers for ISO who cut northern new england off from the grid on time. I've been in their control room and i know those guys watch the grid 24x7x365 and some girl-ie pages too ;)

Yeah, what a drag. All the Boxter S showrooms were closed for a day.
(Boxster is a type of Porsche for all those who don't circulate in the upper echelons of car ownership/yuppiedom)
Fortunately though, many households in the area were able to hook up their Chevy Suburban's as impromptu generators, so their sophisticated lifestyles were not interrupted.
