NDT, no questions on EM on my exam =) but you can browse thru the pages just to give you an idea on the topic. i did not read the whole chapter on Oracle Expert (i did not even bother to browser thru it) and i missed the question on that section. its a good thing that only 1 question was given on Oracle Expert. So i guess the lesson i learned there is "it wont hurt to read a little more if you have the time to"

NDT, can you provide me with some tips on the NetAdmin exam? like what specific topics (parameters and the sorts) i should concentrate on.

Guys, I wrote the PT exam today and passed with 52/57. Millions thanks to Maverick. The exam itself is quite straight forward, no tricky questions. I think I've overprepared in some areas. Most of the questions are similar to STS (not identical), use the tips from Maverick ..very helpful. My next one and also the last one, SQL&PL/SQL. Thanks everybody

Congratulations NDT! great score =) PL/SQL should not be hard if you have experienced using it.
gd_1976, sorry to hear that your sick. i used Sybex and Oracle Student Guide for my PT exam. Sybex is a good book for PT exam, it covers about 90-95% of the exam.

Thanks Maverick, actually I didn't have much confidence before exam, I thought it would be much harder. Well, im glad it's over now. Time to concentrate on PL/SQL exam, hopefully it'll be okay.
GD_1976, I strongly recommend the ILT and STS for this exam. I have the sybex too but I find that it doesn't cover indepth in some topics. Hope this helps
PL/SQL is hard. But I assume you mean the SQL exam. I got some questions on PL/SQL which were DBA questions, not really developer questions. There was even a question on the init.ora file. Now, I don't believe there are many developers that care much about the init.ora parameters :-)Quote:

i just cleared P&T 50/57, and i think NDT is right about over preparing for it, which is wat i think i did, but hey, it paid of. special thanks to maverick, yes NDT, nikki(disappered from forum), padmam, and all ya who posted something related to anything that helped me educate myself. just got B&R and Net admin to clear....hopefully the end month.
