Thanks guys, well Julian it was an 8i exam. The most frustrating thing about this is there is no way I can look over the questions to see what went wrong and of course in the back of my mind I'm thinking what if I was marked wrongly (sounds crazy I know, but I was so sure that I'd passed). Okay enough whining from me. Wish I had some ILT materials but the Sybex book seems adequate so what the hell. Will beg, borrow, steal even buy some STS next time. Oh and what the hell are cheet sheets?

I used Sybex as my main study guide for A&A exam, and i personally feel that it is very well written, i also used the Student Guide (ILT) as a supplement, but i did not read it from cover to cover because its in PDF.

Thanks Maverick I particularly like the powerpoint presentation, have saved the pdfs to disk, sick of reading SYBEX so this will be refreshing.

three possible ways to avoid the 'SNAP SHOT TOO OLD' error are
1.increase the optimal size
2.increase the extent size(initial 20 is the most recommended)
3.recreate the extents

i used Sybex as my main study guide. I also used the Oracle Student Guide as a suplementary material (just browse around a bit). and STS for my final preparation.
Sybex is really a good book for A&A but i soon knew that questions are taken directly from ILTs (Student Guide). But i find it really hard to read & study from a PDF file, well unless i print the whole manual w/c i think is quite expensive in ink & paper.
But anyway, Sybex + ILT + STS is a good combination. hands-on experience is also a big plus.

For A&A 8i, I used Couchman's 8 (not 8i) test questions which was not a very good idea.

Congrats for passing A&A with such a good score.
I am also planning to take this test very soon, may be by the end of this month.
