Do you know any CEO, CIO or company owner that administrates an Oracle database? I think you would be hard pressed to find one (they hire people to do it for them). So when you say you hang around CEO's and the like, I can see where you (and Don) would make mistakes about current Oracle technology, after all isn't what this whole uprising is about?
The people who hang around here and other forums administrate an Oracle database on a daily basis (the guys on the front line). Why would I pay heed to what someone says if they're not up to their elbows in Oracle everyday?
Mike, you're nailing your own coffin shut when you make remarks like that. My advise to you would be to stop hanging around CEO's and the like, take a big bite of some humble pie and get back in touch with the database.

I think this poll is kind of pointless based on the questions that people ask in this forum. Would you not agree when people ask "what is an spfile?" surely proves that they don't like to read in the first place. I think our membership level would be about 60% smaller if people were to read before coming here. That's probably why Howards forum is so small.
