Having lots of Bugs and use your customers as beta testers. This has always been microoft policy. But look where they are. They entered each and every market in a late stage and captured it, and dont say that they had the money muscle always. Microsoft only became rich after it captured the O/S market and not before that and If you look back their windows was and is still is full of Bugs.
as far as their sql server strategy goes there is no doubt that they will capture the low end of the database market very soon and the day the day their O/S becomes robust as unix they will start ruling the high end market.
Then lets see how Larry will justify the high costs of ownership of oracle......
