Well ocpwannabe, if this is the case you've proved us all wrong.
Congratulations.
I'm still a little suprised though... and maybe somewhat concerned.
Hmmm....I don't know about these results....he barely passed everything...
and it looks like that he used cheet sheets to prepare for these tests, which is not worth it. He probably did not leran anything about Oracle if he memorized everything on cheet sheets.
Even though he passed the tests, he will not be able to find a job as a Oracle DBA.
What do you guys thing?
WOW OCPWannabe.. I mean OCP-ist.. you showed us all.
You got through some of those exams by the skin of your teeth... Well Done
BTW. Is it the Oracle8i OCP you have?
Only, I have passed 3 of these exams recently and according to my results and Oracle's web page, there seems to be a discrepancy in the total amount of questions you were asked per exam... They have possibly changed the structure. I may have to research this as I would like to know how many questions I will be asked and how many I need get correct for a pass.

I recently wrote 001 and there were 57 questins ( 1 month ago).
023 had 64 questions a week ago.
Is it pssible that he got different # of questions so soon?
congrats and hope you earn big bucks but may be someday we all have to get real
Well congrats ocpwannabe ... you did it.
So, how did youuuuu prepare?
Also once your brain has cleared, goto skilldrill and take the Oracle8i DBA test and see how what ranking you achivie on it.

......
Leo, I believe there are different exams for each test.
The total number of questions for the exams I took are as follows:
PL/SQL - 57 questions
A&A - 64 questions
B&R - 60 questions
PT - 57 questions
NA - 59 questions
How does this compare with you?
Regards,

Huh??? Whaaa????
Took the PLSQL at the beginning of October in London and got 51/57 and if I remember correctly I had nearly two hours for the exam though to my surprise had completed everything after 1hr45m. Bit annoyed as half way through the exam in this tiny room some folk came in for another exam and were talked through the procedures, I ended up having to reread a question about 5 times, not what I needed.
How this guy did all 5 in one day and prepared for OCP whilst holding down a job, well I wonder. To me the point of the OCP is to serve as a primer for DBA work the real learning starts on the job. The exams are the easy bit, cos u got to prove yourself when someone is looking over your shoulder and you got a problem looking you in the face! Of course it could be the boss staring you in the face and problems looking over your shoulder, not sure which is worse.
Good luck OCPWANNABE whatever you end up doing, I just hope if you are in McDonalds this will be a door opener for you.
