Actually, remember how the administration was pursuing the development of nuclear "bunker buster" bombs? This is what they'd have been useful for, i suppose. That would have lead to just about the greatest piece of irony in the history of the world -- the use of nuclear weapons to prevent the proliferation of nuclear weapons.
