I will never be accused of NOT having a self deprecating sense of humor.
;)
In all honesty and with great humility I must thank Jeff for all of my dbasupport achievements. He is my hero and mentor, any success on my part is a direct reflection on him.

Here's a reason for avoiding the technet forums ...
They seem to have an issue with managing their own software.Quote:

MH, why do you hate developers so much? You dwell on the point easily and often. There must be some psycholigical aspect to this hatred. Perhaps Freud would call it developer envy. :D Was your father a developer, and is your real name Oedipus Rex? I think you should delve into these issues further. :DQuote:

Nice, psychoanalyzed buy an X-developer give me a break Jung. My guess is that you are still sleeping with someone from your old department, now that we are attending forum group therapy. In fact, one would speculate that this is the sole reason behind your changing departments in the first place. Apparently you are the only DBA I know that is so sympathetic to the swine.

I am currently a PL/SQL developer. Whether I am acting as a DBA or PL/SQL developer, it doesn't matter as long as I get paid.Quote:

Were you teased by developers when you were a lad? :D
I guess there is a thin subspecies - independent of developer or dba's.
But comes up with, always, just problems. And no solutions !
