In their with some pretty "heavy" guys, very interesting.. if you're going to comment, be prepared to Back yourself up, it's quite easy to get.. well, "BURNT". The ol' ego get's put back in it's place pretty quickly to, especially when theories get shot down by Conner McDonald, Jonathan Lewis and Howard Rogers. Respect to them though, they soon put you on the right track. The biggest thing I took out of that is, TEST and TEST again.. preferrable with larger test sets.

Anyway, hope the migration is going well. They're paying you overtime RIGHT! ;)

I hope everyone is aware that those forums are actually not "google forums" or something like that. Those are USENET NEWS discussion groups, one of the oldest services on the internet - definitely older than google itself! Google only provide an *web based access* to those newsgroups, so we can't even speak about "actual forum structure" in this context.

If you are serious about using usnet, then you would certanly not use web based access, you would find some pretty good news reader (like Forté Agent or something like that), and you'll find out that the actual structure of those discussins is darn good (IMHO).

Finally finished that migration 01:00 this morning.


We've all spoken about paper OCPs but I have to say my newly acquired knowledge of B&R stood me on good stead.

Lovely little restore of 2gb at 11:30 last night went sweet as a nut.

Mind you all this work is playing havoc with my study time :D
