PATROL is the only user with unrestricted quota:

How would you comment on that?

monthly sounds interesting.

Are they are any monthly (or 28 day) batch jobs which run at midnight which could possibly:

1) Create table, insert (get close to not extending) and then are dropped, or transaction filled rbs or temp.
2) A Patrol monthly job which does some kind of reporting and almost fills either temp or rbs.

Are you running statspack (check for PERFSTAT user) if you are you might be able to use the stats gathered to check the timeframe question.

1. No.
2. I dont know about PATROL´s reports but RBS and TMP are not an issue.

I still think that this could be due to the new parameter CannotExtend; probably not used or used in an improper way by the Patrol guys.

At one of my clients site I am using BMC Web DBA/DB Xrey and have found same that error /warning messages are sometime difficult to understand.
